Solution Preparation Calculator

Calculate required amounts of solute and solvent for preparing solutions of specific concentrations. Supports molarity, molality, mass percentage, and PPM.

Enter the chemical formula of the solute

Frequently Asked Questions

Enter the chemical formula of the solute (e.g., NaCl), select the concentration type (molarity, molality, mass percentage, or PPM), input the target concentration value and solution volume, then click calculate to get the required solute mass.

Four common concentration types are supported: molarity (mol/L), molality (mol/kg), mass percentage (%), and PPM (parts per million). The system automatically converts and displays corresponding values in other concentration units.

Calculations are based on accurate molecular weight databases and standard chemical formulas with high precision. Density values are approximate estimates; adjustments based on specific conditions are recommended for actual preparation.

Currently supports single-solute solution preparation calculations. For mixed solutions, it's recommended to calculate each component separately and then mix proportionally.

The system automatically provides conversion results for multiple concentration units. When you input any concentration type, you'll get corresponding values in other units, making it convenient for laboratory use.
